Dev R Nil transformed the Russel Exchange Auction House into a magnificent venue to launch their Spring Summer 2012 Collection. Using Calcutta & Nostalgia as the primary theme, I designed the publicity material for the show: some of which were used as advertisements in the leading newspapers of the city and some as invites. Here are some of the designs from the series: The yellow taxis, the stereotypical motifs that reappear such as the lamp have been used to recreate a sense of nostalgia that the city evokes. A host of small insect like taxis are hovering around the lamp. I had a lot of fun working on this project
